Guidelines of the Forum

Welcome to the forum! The purpose of the following rules and guidelines is to make your stay at this forum as pleasant and constructive as possible. Please take your time to read through these rules and guidelines.

• The official language is English. While we are glad to have members from around the globe, the use of a common language helps ensure that the forum is readable for everyone.

• Use the search function before posting a new topic. Chances are your question has already been answered or the discussion is already started.

• Keep the focus: Questions outside the scope of a certain forum section will either be moved, locked or simply be deleted.

• Use a title that describes the content of your post. Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention.

• No cross posting. Post your message once, to the appropriate forum section and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning.

• Be nice to each other and respect the moderator. Profanity and insults will not be tolerated. Neither will discriminating, sexual or inappropriate language. If you have a problem with another member please send a personal message to one of the moderators.

• This forum is "post moderated", meaning we review messages after (not before) they are placed in the forum by our registered users. Messages that are deemed to not meet the rules and guidelines may be edited or removed at our discretion.

• Do not constantly use CAPS. Do not spam. No blatant advertising. No MP3 requests or illegally obtained copyrighted content. Links to content of a questionable nature, asking for, offering, or asking for help/helping to process such content in any way or form is not tolerated.

• Nicknames that we consider to be rude, inflammatory, vulgar, or otherwise inappropriate will be deleted.

• Don't post just to increase your number of posts. If you have nothing to say on a certain matter then don't post. The number of posts on this board has no direct relation to the experience of a member.

• Multiple registrations are prohibited and are grounds for immediate account deletion.

• Your failure to follow the rules of the Forum may result in termination of your access to the Forum and/or other remedies.

• These rules may be modified from time to time, with revisions to be announced on this page. Continued access of the forum by you will constitute your acceptance of any changes or revisions to these rules and policies.

• In certain forum sections there is an announcement with additional guidelines for that particular section. Please take the time to read them before making new topics.
