Moby announces the release of a new single, The Day. The Day is taken from his upcoming new studio album, Destroyed, which he releases on his own label Little Idiot on May 16th. Moby surprised us with a glammed-out, synth-heavy ode to Davie Bowie and Brian Eno. In a description of the track, Moby himself confirmed the track’s inspiration (“David Bowie and Brian Eno’s production circa Low and Heroes“).
The Day comes complete with a remix package featuring a solid selection of dance floor destroyers and a few more alternative interpretations to suit a broad ranging audience.
