Listen up production people... it really is 'Now or Never'. Funkerman & Shermanology announce a new contest to find the freshest producers around.

If you're a producer with mad skills and a creative ear this could be your chance to see your very own track released under the Flamingo Recordings banner. Following the overwhelming response to Funkerman's Automatic Remix Contest last year, the label chief of Flamingo Recordings has joined forces with vocal behemoth Shermanology to launch a fabulous new competition.

Shermanology has laid down the vocal skeleton for new track 'Now or Never'. The rest, explains Funkerman, is up to you:
"Our label is known for its high-quality vocal tracks, so we recorded vocals with Shermanology, responsible for the vocals on ‘3 Minutes to Explain’ and ‘Automatic’, to provide you with exclusive vocals “Now or Never” to help you get started. Me and my team were stoked to see so many people producing and talking about music during the Automatic Remix Contest so I wanted to kick off this year with another massive competition! I'd like to give you the chance to have your own tune released on Flamingo Recordings to show our continued commitment to finding and showcasing the best DJs and producers around! There is a huge amount of talent out there, and we want to see more!"

As well as the kudos of seeing your track released on Flamingo Recordings, the winning producer (or production team) will also received €2000,- of vouchers to spend on M-Audio Pro Tools LE equipment.

The 10 finalists, selected by Funkerman and his team, will be put forward for a public vote. By voting in the competition you can also win fantastic prizes, 5 voters will win:M-Audio IE-10 earphones worth €100, Pro Tools recording equipment and a Funkerman T-Shirt.

Contest Rules
• Shermanology's 'Now or Never' vocals will be available to download from March 4rd via www.funkerman.com.
• Your track MUST include the words 'Now or Never'. The rest of the vocals are yours to do what you like with!
• Once you've completed your track upload it to YouTube. Then head back to www.funkerman.com to the submission page and complete the instructions to deliver your track.
• Closing date is 25th April 2010.

Once the competition is closed Funkerman and his expert team will sift through the entries to produce a list of 10 finalists, who will be announced on the contest page of his website on April 28th. These top ten quality tracks will then be subject to a public vote, giving the audience the chance to pick which track will be the winner and released on Flamingo Recordings. The track with the most votes will be announced as the winner on 12th May 2010. Good luck!
